Should circumstances require the High Bailiff to assume the duties of Sheriff, that transition must happen immediately and without disruption to the services residents rely on every day.

Having served with the Chittenden County Sheriff's Office for more than three decades, I understand every facet of the organization. I have worked alongside the dedicated men and women who serve our communities and understand the policies, procedures, and laws that guide the office's work.
